Mia came to the shelter as a stray after she was hit by a car (minor fractures in her
foot and some scrapes).  Despite being scared and injured, she started bonding with staff immediately.  Mia was a yard dog and not properly socialized so she has pretty significant "stranger danger".  She needs a home that can manage proper introductions.  Once Mia accepts someone, it is truly forever and the snuggles and kisses are constant.  She is as happy sitting down at your feet as she is playing for hours.  She is a wonderful companion pet for a couch potato or an active lifestyle.
